In India, rice is considered as an important part of culinary tradition. Different varieties of rice is produced by processing rice obtained from paddy. Every variety has distinct taste, aroma and flavor. The parameters which are used to distinguish rice varieties are growing technique, aroma, grain size, color and stickiness to name a few. Our company, Nanda Agro deals in IR 64 Rice, 1121 White Sella, 1121 Golden Sella Rice, Sona Masoori Rice and Kolam Rice. All are white rice varieties that differ from brown rice varieties by the type of processing. In brown rice, hull is removed. While in white rice, hull, bran and germ layers are removed. Milling process is carried out to process white rice.
